For today, we want to talk about Belgian blocks. Beligan blocks are brick shaped pavers that are solid granite. They are used in a variety of applications including paving and edging. These natural and durable blocks come in a variety of colors like grey, tan, pink, red and black. Because of the vast array of colors, beligan blocks can be laid in several different intricate designs creating beautiful effects.
Grey Belgian Blocks are the classic, granite belgian block used for over a century to pave driveways, roads and to edge gardens!
Tan Beige Belgian Blocks are a unique tan color that add a beautiful element to any design.
Pink Belgian Blocks are a rose color that add an element of warmth.
Black Belgian Blocks add a timeless, elegant statement.
Red Belgian Blocks help to give that rustic, unique touch to any project!
What color Belgian block is your favorite?
Did you know beligan blocks, formerly referred to as setts where commonly used on steeper streets because setts provided horses' hooves with a better grip than a smooth surface. Another fun fact is that Belgian blocks have little to no association with Beligum.
